I started sport as a footballer playing for West Bromwich Albion under 12’s primary school. As soon as I started high school I went on a school athletics competition then got scouted because I finished first in all my events and noticed I was very quick for his age. From the age of 13/14, I took up the pentathlon which consists of 5 events (LJ,HJ,SH,SP,800M). That’s when I gained my first international title indoors on Glasgow. At the age of 14 I took up the long jump a long side with the high jump. I’m the first British boy in history to jump over 7m at the age of 14 years old. From the age of 14/15, I made my first junior common wealth youth team representing England, I finished 4th. The age of 18, I competed for Great Britain, at his first European Juniors Championships finishing 5th. I took up a back and ankle injury around this time. This didn’t stop me, I was determined to jump internationally finishing 1st and 2nd. In 2017, I made my first British silver medal in the men’s long jump. In 2018, I jumped over 8m and made my first senior profession circuit competition at the London Diamond league, then making my first senior team at the European championships Berlin Germany. Ranks me top 10 in Europe and 1st in the UK rankings.
I am now determined to make Tokyo 2020 Olympics, a long with other major championship leading up to and beyond.

HI Tom
Thanks for the email.
The afternoon was a huge success - Feron was a massive hit with the children and they all had a fantastic time. He really is a very good ambassador for your organisation.
To be honest, as a small school, we would not look to repeat it next year, but probably the year after that and would welcome information at this time next year to set that in motion.
All the best
Kevin
