Dis-Ability Workshop
Sports For Champions UK (CIC) visit youths across the UK to educate them through the perspective of para-athletes in a range of disciplines, featuring world champions, Team GB stars, world record holders, and a Deaflympian with a voice to remember!
SFC enables youth by exploring (dis)ability and inclusion, in literal terms, as well as within the context of community and sport. Other key areas of discussion help youth to realise/boost confidence and achieve – if not reinforce – a sense of direction, which is essential for young people to develop sustainably in a high-pressure world.
Having empowered youth through impactful discussion on our (potential) abilities as humans, both inside and outside of school, SFC leads reflections on our need for physical exercise and good nutrition. This is central to the general wellbeing of all, with particular benefits from both in child mental health. 70% of youth in society require significant improvement, according to the British government.
Our classroom circuits ensue as one aspect of a successful ten-year international School Programme, letting youth lead by example and in practice, following interactive classroom discussions.
