Sports For Champions UK (CIC) is on a mission to EDUCATE–ENABLE–EMPOWER youth in line with the national agenda for child welfare, public health, and safety. Team SFC currently has around 50 active partnerships, with the majority comprising world-class athletic talents who inspire children as champions of tomorrow in their performance as pro, para, and Olympic athletes.
Despite a decade of success in Europe with almost 1 million children engaged, Team SFC remains without funding. The organisation is sustained through community collaborations–not donations. The team engages 100 schools, clubs, and corporates a month to inspire healthier active lifestyles with a focus on health and wellness through nutrition, in addition to workshops on knife crime, resilience, and self-esteem.
To bring added assurance for stakeholders across Europe, SFC maintains its registration as a Community Interest Company under a governmental regulator, in addition to its membership of Social Enterprise UK and voluntary registration with the UK's Fundraising Regulator.
Sports For Champions UK (CIC) delivers bespoke athlete merchandise to give its projects an added means of sustainability. All profits from the Shop are reinvested, offering funky designs on a range of lifestyle favourites with custom athlete graphics and signatures, truly great gifts that will directly benefit local communities.

Testimonials
On Monday it was the beginning of Sports Week and to herald this joyful moment we welcomed inspirational Great British Basketball player Pierre Henry-Fontaine into school. Mrs Pryor presented a super assembly introducing Pierre to the children who gasped in awe at the film of his performance. He gave us some top tips followed by a demonstration and Zachary in Mars class saw his performance with the basketball dramatically improve after just one lesson. This entertaining assembly with dietary tips for good health & sporting success was followed by a very active workshop run by Pierre which was enjoyed by all.
St Christopher’s School, Epsom Headteacher
Our school children, aged between 3-7 years old, were immediately mesmerised by Pierre's charisma and basketball prowess. He demonstrated his dribbling skills bringing the children into the demonstration much to the school's amusement! During the fun, workout circuit session. Pierre got all the children active and fully immersed in his activities. He differentiated the stations and games for the different year groups, ending with a competitive activity that all the children loved. We had a wonderful morning with Pierre, we were only sad that we couldn't keep him for longer!

Hello, We have had a wonderful day. Pierre was incredible with the kids and they all had a great time. He delivered a great assembly and was asking all the children's questions - even in quite a difficult situation as it was online. The children all responded to him very well, he was very positive and inspiring but was also very good at ensuring the children behaved. Thank you so much for organising a great day for us. I will be in touch soon to book a date for next year.

‘We have had a wonderful day and one I think our children will remember for a long time! They were so inspired by hearing Jaydon and watching some of his videos. Jaydon was brilliant and just lovely. We were so grateful that he could travel all the way from Birmingham! Our school have never raised more than £300 for an event before so to have raised over £1000 was just awesome and showed how excited they were to be a part of this day. Thanks again for reaching out to me about this great event. I won’t be a part of this school next year but I know they would love to have the opportunity to do it again’
Lucy Ryder PE Lead – Margaret Wix Primary School, Raised £ 1170.34
Dan was absolutely amazing with all the children today. It is brilliant for the children to be able to listen to and learn from such an inspiring individual. The kids were amazed by his handstands and backflips and to be able to see and hold an Olympic medal is a wonderful opportunity for all of them. Also, to know that their sponsor money is helping to provide opportunities for athletes like Dan and those who come after him makes their fundraising so relevant during our sports week. Thank you so much.
Corrie Primary and Nursery School, £1676 raised
Today was amazing. Rob was absolutely fantastic and great with the kids, who all thoroughly enjoyed the day. We raised a fantastic £2,464, which is amazing! I am keen to book in for next year however as I currently only on a maternity cover contract it is ultimately not my decision. I have asked my head to see what he thinks. Many thanks Alex
Alex Dodgson – PE Teacher
Our Sports for Champions visit has been such a success. Not only did it raise a significant sum of money for our school and Sports for Champions, it also left a lasting impression on the children and staff. Our athlete for the day Ezekiel 'Zeeks' Ewulo was brilliant throughout the day. His energy and enthusiasm inspired the children to get active and he was engaging during the question and answer sessions. He highlighted many of the skills needed to be a professional athlete and linked them to skills the children are learning in school. We are still seeing children trying to beat their standing long jump records at break times and all members of the school enjoy reminiscing about the day. It really felt like the event brought our school community together. A big thank you to Zoe who was always in contact and supported our school along the way. We look forward to our next event with Sports for Champions!

"Rich, it was a pleasure to welcome Team GB Olympian Dan Purvis to our school. He had a lovely manner with both children and staff. He was positive and encouraging throughout the afternoon and was accommodating to our needs. He was obviously very conscious of the current guidelines and expectations and did his utmost to follow them, even bringing along his own PPE. I would have no hesitation in recommending both Sports For Champions and Dan himself."

'Laura Samuel (Triple Jumper) was fantastic on the day and did a great job of engaging the children and inspiring them. Every child in our school took part in the activities and the assembly at the end was engaging, inspirational and, most importantly, fun. The children listened intently to Laura's story and were eager to ask questions about what it takes to reach the level of an elite athlete. Laura was honest and open about her experiences which helped the children relate and aspire to achieve similar goals.'

'Eden Francis (Discus and Shotput) went through her warmups and a few drills before she oversaw some discus throwing and shot putting, then she had a question and answer session, the youngsters were a bit shy to start with but Eden soon won them over. The children had all had an excellent day I think they have been inspired by Luke! It was great how every child was involved in the circuit; even if they were unable to complete the physical part, they were cheering their friends on. There have been comments about showing siblings what they've been doing at home. The whole process from booking was clear and efficient. Event Date - 16/01/2019
