I won my first national title in 2012 in 200m sprint, setting the record as the fastest 14 year old in the 200m in the UK with a sprint of 24.48s. I also won a silver medal in 2015 at the English Schools Championships and a bronze medal in the 200m England Athletics U20/U23 championships which led to me being selected for Team GB in 2017. I have been training with both my father and my older sister since I was 4 years old. One of my main ambitions was to win gold medal in the Commonwealth Game. Under the coaching of my older sister, Louise Renicks, I won the Commonwealth gold in the Women’s Under 48kg Judo event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. I began getting interested in athletics at the age of 9 when I went down to the local athletics club after being spotted by a coach at my primary school and my journey really began from there. I’ve represented Great Britain in the summer Olympics in Beijing and I was also a Great Britain Team member at the European Championships in 2007 and the World Championships in 2007 and 2009. I attended and competed for the University of Florida on a full sports scholarship and became the National Champion on the vault in 2011 and helped Florida win their first ever National Team Championship in 2013. “I am an Olympian having represented Team GB at the 2008 Summer Olympics and represented GB as a reserve for the 2018 Winter Olympics. I am also a former 100m British record holder, now being the 2nd fastest of all time and I am also a Commonwealth Games medallist, picking up the gold in the 4x100m in 2010, England’s first in 25 years.
